Wizard
Wizards can learn a huge variety of spells and can fine tune their spell list to the task. They can assist the party, summon allies, or destroy opponents with the power of the elements.

Wizards are the only class that can learn all of the arcane spells. This eventually gives them many spell options when preparing to go on a quest. Unlike the other classes, Wizards get bonus metamagic feats. These feats give them more ways to manipulate the power and duration of their spells. At taverns and rest shrines, Wizards can switch to different spells. This allows them to choose the right spell for the situation. Sorcerers and Favored Souls cannot do this.

Important Stats:
Intelligence is the most important stat for Wizards. High Intelligence makes a Wizard's spells more difficult to resist and gives him or her more spell points.

Constitution is important for Wizards who want to increase their hit points, and Dexterity is important for increasing defence.

The Ingenious Sage:

When faced with a problem or obstacle, these extremely versatile and intelligent Wizards are rarely without an answer, and they hold their own in battle as well.

Choose this path if you want to be able to attack, support, and enable your party.

As an Ingenious Sage you will learn many different types of spells including both combat and non-combat spells and will be able to shift your focus during quests as different situations present themselves.

Most arcane casters need to rely on their allies at times, but Ingenious Sages are more self-sufficient and versatile than most. In addition to damaging enemies and enhancing the abilities of allies, you will often use your non-combat spells to assist your party in interesting ways.
Necromancer:

These Wizards study the dark art of Necromancy and the power of negative energy. They can control the undead or snuff out a living enemy's life force with a word.

Choose this path if you want to blend attack power with control and suppression.

As a Necromancer you will focus mainly on negative energy for your damage spells and will have the ability to create and control undead creatures. You will, however, only have a few helpful spells with which to protect yourself or assist allies.

When you are without undead minions, you will be relatively unprotected and will need to rely on your allies to block or immobalize enemies to keep them from damaging you too much, In time, however, you will learn powerful negative energy spells which are capable of instantly killing many types of creatures.
Elementalist:

Elementalists use the combined force of magic and the elements to strike enemies with ferocity and can often hit them with the spells they fear the most.

Choose this path if you prefer a more aggressive role.

As an Elementalist you will focus more on damage spells than other Wizards and can amplify the damage you deal to very high levels. With your large variety of elemental spells, you will always have the option of hitting opponents with the one element that deals the most damage to them. You will, however, have fewer helpful spells with which to protect yourself or assist allies.

Because you will deal a lot of damage, you will attract a lot of enemy attention. There will be times when you will need to rely on your allies to block or immobilize enemies to keep them from damaging you too much.
