Favored Soul
Wielding divine magic to both heal and destroy, Favored Souls have fewer spells than Clerics but can cast more often.

With their innate conncestion to the divine, Favored Souls can cast divine spells without needing time for study and prayer like Clerics, but they can only preform a fixed number of spells in this way.

Like Clerics, Favored Souls have access to powerful healing spells. Favored Souls and Sorcerers get more spell points than any of the other classes. They also gain more bonus spell points from special magic items. As a result, they can cast more often.

Favored Souls cannot switch spells at taverns or rest shrines. They are able to switch spells but to do so they must undergo a special ritual that can only be done once every few days. (At Trainer)

Important Stats:
Charisma is the most important stat for Favored Souls. High Charisma grants a Favored Soul access to higher level spells and gives him or her more spell points.

Wisdom is also important for Favored Souls, especially those who want to use offensive spells, because Wisdom determines how difficult a Favored Soul's spells are for enemies to resist.

Notable Abilities:
Empower Spell, Leap of Faith.
Divine Avenger:

Equal parts warrior, support caster, and healer, these Favored Souls swing their weapons more often than they cast. Although not as specialized for spell casting, they are more skilled with weapons than any other caster.

Choose this path if you want to blend melee fighting with both curative and helpful magic.

As a Divine Avenger you will split your time between hand-to-hand combat, healing, and casting helpful spells on yourself and allies.

With your magic you can benefit yourself and your party by enhancing the physical combat abilities of party members and replenishing hit points. When you are not assisting the party, you will be a capable fighter in your own right and will also be extremely self-sufficient.
Beacon of Hope:

These Favored Souls are unmatched in their capacity for healing. They are able to revive and heal allies more often than any other class and are always ready to aid anyone in need.

Choose this path if you prefer a support role that focuses on healing allies.

As a Beacon of Hope you will play an extremely important role and will be unparalleled in your ability to heal yourself and others. With your curative magic you can benefit yourself and your party by removing harmful status effects and replinishing hit points.

When you are not healing the party, you will be able to suppress enemy activity with a few offensive spells or attack with your weapons.
Angel of Vengeance:

Bringing the destructive power of offensive divine magic to bear on their enemies, these Favored Souls concentrate more on dealing damage with their spells but are capable of some healing as well.

Choose this path if you prefer to focus on attacking with spells.

As an Angel of Vengeance you will spend most of your time using offensive spells to blast enemies. You will have many more offensive spells than the other Favored Souls and will usually be attacking rather than healing.

You will have some curative magic as well, however, and can benefit yourself and your party with this by replenishing hit points. With your ability to both attack and heal, you will also be fairly self-sufficient.
